Essential Job Duties:
Include; welding with GTAW, FCAW, GMAW, SMAW and a working knowledge of SAW, Plasma Cutting, Oxy-fuel cutting. Must be familiar with using weld positioners, tank rolls, weld manipulators and be proficient with setting up welding processes and associated equipment. Must be able to read blueprints and welding symbol, and able to pass an AWS/ASME 3G Weld Test for certification using FCAW process.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 5+ year’s Fitting Experience
- Must be able to tig weld (x-ray quality)
- Must have experience working with large parts/fabrications
- Must be able to interpret complicated drawings and/or blueprints
- Must be able to work independently with little supervision and direction.
- Must be self-motivated.
- Must be able to assemble and fit as per drawings
- Experience with brake press, plate rolls, burning table and fabricating equipment a plus.
- Must be able to work overtime as required
